Structural Adaptations:
- The wedge-tailed eagle has greater vision then most animals, its sophisticated eyes that acts as binoculars allows the eagle to accurately examine the ground from the sky for prey, making it easier for them to find food and stay alive.
- Has a very strong beak that can rip of strong flesh from an animal so it can chew and swallow it, therefore surviving.
- The eagle has very strong claws that grasp prey from the ground and hold it while flying until it reaches its destination where it then eats.
- The wedge-tailed eagle has a very wide wing span making it easier to glide on thermals therefore less energy is spend on flying in the sky.

Physiological Adaptations:
- The eye of an wedge tailed-eagle has bony rings on each eye that can squeeze the eyeball to enlarge what it sees just like a camera lens making it easier to spot prey from far distances. Their eyesight can also extend into both the infrared and ultraviolet bands therefore allowing the eagle to spot prey even better.

Behavioural Adaptations:
- During very intense heat usually during summer or middle parts of the day, the wedge-tailed eagle flys higher into the sky then it usually does making it cooler and circling up on the thermal air currents keeping the cool.
- Usually when a wedge-tailed eagle has a mate which they stay with for life, they become more territorial then usual especially when they have produced offspring. The male eagle soars high to target individuals that may be an intruder or a threat, this warns off other birds or predators and increases the chance of the survival of the offspring.
